A Different Type of Exercise
Pole Dancing is a body weight resistant exercise. Every time you do a move you get a great stretch, keeping those muscles long and lean as opposed to short and bulky, as lifting weights may do. Pole Dancing burns up to 400 calories an hour while improving balance, coordination and posture!

Classes are designed to suit any fitness level and body type. You do not have to be in shape to come to Tantra Fitness. Ladies of all ages and sizes are welcome!
What is Tantra?
*Most people are unclear about what Tantra really is. The most common misconception is that Tantra is sexual. Tantra is actually an upwardly motivating energy within ourselves. Harnessing this energy will help us discover parts of ourselves that have remained asleep or have been repressed. We can learn to use this energy for pleasure, self confidence, new awareness and to discover our sensual self. Tapping into this energy can help a person to enjoy life to the fullest, do away with guilt or fear, and break down self imposed or limiting boundaries. We become empowered, more fulfilled, and more perfect.*
The studio name is derived from a need for women to come out of their shell, to be the best they can be, and most of all to embrace their sensuality as women. It is our goal to empower women through the art of Pole Dance and to encourage mental and physical health. Come transform yourself at Tantra Fitness.
